FileKit is built on a simple promise: your files stay on your device.

On-device processing

All Phase 1 tools process files entirely in your browser using Web Workers and WASM. No file contents, filenames, or metadata are sent to our servers during processing.

Verify it yourself

  1. Open your browser DevTools (F12 or right-click → Inspect)
  2. Go to the Network tab
  3. Process a file with any FileKit tool
  4. You will see zero file uploads — only static assets load
